1942 Handbook of United States Coins ~ FIRST EDITION ~ R.S Yeoman Blue Book~Whitman Publishing Company

1942 First Edition of the Handbook of United States Coins and Premium List. Written by R.S.Yeoman, Published by Whitman Publishing Company-Racine, Wisconsin.

This is one of the finest known examples seen by collectors.

This 1st. edition is in near-mint condition. The colors are bright, the gold lettering is full and complete. The cloth boards are without marks or smudges. There is a tight fully intact spine with no sign of excessive opening or bending. The inside cover pages ( front and back ) are crisp and flat, no writing or notations in the entire book. There is a little price tag mark on the inside cover page, not distracting. The title page shows a red stamp which says the book was sold by "MORTON STAMP COMPANY, 912 PINE STREET, ST.LOUIS,MO.''

126 pages in print, NO dog-ear pages or bent edges. I dont think this book was even used because many of the pages are still crisp and stiff. Many of the pages show no signs of being turned. There are no stains, writing marks, scribbles, initials or entries. Super Clean!

I have been a Numismatist for many years. I bought this 5 years ago and never opened the front cover until I took these pictures.

This is a true trophy to add to your coin reference library, or rare 1st. edition book collection.

Book size: 7 3/4'' x 5 1/4'' x 1/2''.
