Swinnertons Staffordshire England Transferware Silverdale Gravy Boat

The Silverdale pattern is a delightful one. It features a boy & girl in a garden with a lovely river, boat, church, and pastoral background. This item features a lovely floral pattern around the rim, and on the handle. It also has a lovely embossed pattern about 1" down on the outside. The Silverdale pattern was made in the late 1930s and 1940s. This gravy boat is in beautiful condition, fee of cracks, chips, crazing and stains. This blue & white transferware is befitting any fine collection.

The gravy measures 3 3/4' to the top of the spout, it is 8" long, and is 4 1/4" wide.
