St. John's Oil Company Gardner Massachusetts 1930s~1940s Religious Advertising Thermometer

This is a beautiful little thermometer and beautiful print as well. I believe it is depicting St. John of the New Testament. The thermometer is enclosed next to St. John both are covered in a nice see through plastic. The frame is the old hard plastic kind, and is in a lovely art deco design. It used to have a cardboard stand, but that has since broken off. It can be hung however. At the bottom of the frame, there is an oblong frame enclosed with the St. John's Oil Company advertisement. The telephone number has just 3 digits! The thermometer works beautifully. This is a beautiful advertising piece, befitting any collection or home decor.

The frame measures 6 1/4" long, and is 5 1/4" wide.
