Oldcourt Ware Staffordshire England Vintage 1930's~1940's Character Jug Fisherman Hand Painted

For your consideration today, I have a gorgeous Toby Jug by Oldcourt Ware of Staffordshire, England. This jug is in great condition, no chips or stains, it does have some very fine crazing noticeable on the bottom and a tiny scratch near the bottom, very difficult to see. The detail and painting on this piece is just wonderful. He looks like a very hard working fisherman with lots of wonderful stories to tell. Any white marks in the pictures are glare from my camera. This guy dates to the 1940s. Oldcourt added the name J. Fryer to the logo in 1945. The jug would be a great addition to any fishing collection or any Toby collection. The face certainly has character.

This jug measures 5" tall and is 5" wide.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or for additional photos..

Thank you for stopping in to see this great vintage jug of Oldcourt ware. Please come back again as we are adding to our inventory all the time.
