Hubert Bequet Quaregnon Belgium France Vintage Bird 7" Luster Flamingo
This looks like a flamingo to me, but I could be mistaken. This is an early piece by Bequet and one you don't see very often. The pottery has darkened some with age. This guy has a gorgeous luster finish, over golds, pinks, greens, black, and blues. The bird is in excellent condition, free of cracks, chips, crazing, stains, etc. I'm sorry some of my photos are dark, it was a cloudy day and the luster finish was hard to shoot. Whether you collect flamingos, birds, or French pottery. This piece is befitting any collection.
