This gorgeous cheese ~ butter dish is made by Edward Radford of Burslem, England. I believe the flowers on this dish are pansies. This dish is in wonderful condition, it has had one tiny repair. The repair was a tiny chip that was repaired expertly, and is not noticeable. It is showing in the photos. This lovely piece has no chips, cracks or staining. It does have very fine age crazing, really not noticeable, I see it only on the base. It has a flower bud for a finial and is light green in color. The bright flowers with the green are just gorgeous, then with the relief it all came together beautifully. I date this piece to the 1930s, as Radford retired in the 40s. This item measures 7" long, 6" wide and is 4" to the top of the finial. The artist signature is in the lid. This is a wonderful & beautiful dish that would do justice to any collection.
