Art Deco Pair of Large Carved Bakelite Buttons

A fabulous pair of large heavily carved bakelite buttons. The color is dark chocolate brown, the flash photos appear more red than the actual color. The thick bakelite is deeply carved. Each measures 1.75" in diameter and 5/16" thick. Shank is heavy wire screwed into the bakelite. Excellent condition, no damage or chips, slightest of wear.
