An outstanding Art Deco gold ring c1920s.
Beautifully made in 14k yellow gold, the Art Deco design features a wonderful combination of materials and techniques.
Amazing attention to detail, the ring is fabulous in design as well as construction.
A faceted amethyst is bezel set in the center, the bezel is framed with tiny seed pearls wired around the setting.
The flat table of the ring surrounding the stone is embellished with green and black enamel, the sides of the shank and base of the setting are detailed with enamel and background texture.
Ring size 6, the top table measures 1&5/8" by 5/8" , the amethyst measures 9/16" by 7/16", (15mm by 10mm).
Total weight is 9.5 grams.
Marked 14k inside the shank with initials WMC.
Excellent condition with very minor enamel loss on the sides of the setting, no distraction.
