A lovely antique English solid silver napkin ring with bright cut engraving.
Ornately hand engraved in different patterns of foliate designs, linear and geometric combined to create a beautifully embellished napkin ring.
There are three empty oval cartouches, one large in the center and two smaller ones on either side, the center one is large enough for engraving initials or a full name, the smaller ones for initials or dates.
Excellent condition, perfectly round, no major issues, minimal wear appropriate for its age, lovely unpolished patina.
Fully hallmarked with the lion passant mark for .925 silver, lion face mark for the assay town of London, makers mark is GJ & DF in a shield for George Jackson & David Fullerton of Josiah Williams Co. and lower case old English g for date letter mark of 1902.
Measures 1.5" diameter, 1&1/8" high, total weight of 29 grams.
