Tin Flour / Sugar Scoop - 19th C.

This is a nifty old tin flour scoop with a tubular capped handle and reinforced upper rim. Measurements are 10" long x 4 1/2" wide. It's impressed with a company name that can't be read completely and also "Pat'd Dec. 21, 69" and the number "2" (photo 5). There's a wire for hanging which is not original to the piece, easily removed if desired. The scoop shows good pewter gray patina with a small dent on the handle (photo 2). Nice to display or use in your country kitchen!
