Early Painted Tin Tray w Candle Snuffer - Wick Trimmer

Offered is this c. 1870s hand forged candle snuffer/wick trimmer and its painted & stenciled tin tray. The tray measures 10 1/4" x 4 1/2" with gold floral stenciling on a black ground. The scissor style trimmer is 6 1/4" long and stands on 3 small feet (1/4" high).

Both pieces show their age to a great degree but are sturdy and ready to use in your primitive home!
