Large Thanksgiving Turkey Salt / Pepper Shaker - Occupied Japan

Offered is this large vintage Tom Turkey shaker signed "Made in Occupied Japan". This would have been made during the US occupation of Japan which lasted from summer 1945 through spring 1952. He stands 5 1/8" high x 5 1/4" from breast to tail. Although there is overall crazing, condition is excellent with no cracks, chips or paint loss (there are some paint dribbles under his feet, as seen in photo 3 - done during manufacture). With Thanksgiving coming up soon, this fellow will be a grand addition to any collection or holiday table!
