McCoy Yellowware Bowl - Pink & Blue Banded - USA

Offered is this nice old McCoy square bottomed yellowware bowl, measuring 4 1/4" high x 7 1/4" top diameter. Its ornate shoulder rim is 3/4" wide and the bowl is decorated with a blue band surrounded on either side by bands of pink. It also features a pretty "draped" design around its base, and the bottom is marked "USA" (photos 3 & 4). Condition is quite good, no cracks, some minor roughness around the rim (photos 7 & 8), the usual glaze pops that are so common on these old bowls. The next to last photo shows an area on the underside of the rim that looks to be "in-the making" ...a "pop" in the clay, not seen in display or use. A nice little bowl for your collection!
