Ultra Miniature Oil on Board Southwest Desert Landscape with Cactus
A little gem, so tiny, so well done. A simple original desert landscape on board in muted shades of sand and blue with green. It is artist signed, but I cannot decipher (see closeup photo). Overall measurement 3 x 3 1/2 inches, image area is a minute 2 x 1 1/2 inches. It has a wide wood frame in a warm natural tone. There is a hint of a greenish gold wash over the molded edges. The frame has damage on the lower back corner, including a small nail presumably to tighten a loose joint, but not visible when looking at the painting. Would look great in a dollhouse. I have another very similar landscape listed.
