Very large antique Limoges flat plaque or tray of hand painted berries, flowers, and foliage. Dramatic piece with the thick band of gold gilding. Size is 16-3/4 inches in diameter. Porcelain is very thick and rough edged, like it was framed at one time. It would make a wonderful tabletop or framed like a painting. Painting is in mint condition with no losses or touchups, including the gold. Edges like I mentioned before are rough, not fired smooth like the top, and there are irregularities in shape and small chips that do not affect the appearance of the piece. There are no cracks or repairs. The back is marked with the T&V factory mark, dating the piece to around 1900.
