This is a charming petite 9" tall German bisque so-called Belton type doll made circa late 1800s. She is a bisque shoulder head doll marked on the back with crossed swords, possibly a Baehr & Proeschild mark. It is also marked 181 11/0, presumably a model and size number. This doll has her cloth body with composition lower arms. She is dressed in antique clothing consisting of matching cotton pantaloons and slip, under an red polka dot dress with sheer ruffle trim. Her red leather slippers may be later additions. She has stationary blue glass eyes.
Condition: The shoulder head is in good condition. No chips cracks or repairs. The wig is very tightly glued in place and I have not removed it.
She is a little charmer.
