This is a 6 piece set of vintage sterling silver southwestern button covers, each with a different design. The large button cover with 5 long drops is engraved with a bird design. It would be for the top button on a western style shirt. The smaller button covers are each a different but complimentary design.
There are no visible markings. The brass button cover backing was probably placed over any markings. The tops tests positive for silver content of sterling grade.
These have a combined weight of 25.7 gr. The largest button cover measures 1.375" across by 2.25" long. The other button covers range in size from .875" to 1.125" in diameter.
Condition is good.
These would be great accessories to liven up a square dance outfit. Great for man or woman to wear.
