1930s Vintage German Asian Lady Boudoir Doll Lamp

This is a rare circa 1930s vintage German made Asian lady boudoir doll lamp in working condition. This is the first Oriental version of this type of doll that I have come across. It is a half doll made from a painted plaster like material, attached to a metal cage frame base that has a light fixture in the bottom. I have rewired the lamp with new cord with switch and plug, as the original cord and plug were very unsafe. The doll has bisque lower arms wired tot he torso at the shoulders. Her original costume was long gone. I had enough scraps of authentic Japanese silk kimono fabric to construct a kimono for her, modified in design to accommodate the lamp base.

The doll lamp stands 14" tall.

She is fully functional and display and use ready. I even supplied her with a fan tucked into the front of her kimono. I will include a small low wattage bulb as well.
