This is an interesting handcrafted sterling silver ring set with a faceted oval smokey quartz stone centered within a dome of silver with perforated designs. The band is a simple wide flat band. The slightly domed face has alternating decorative triangular and bar shaped cut outs. There are no markings but the metal tests positive for high grade silver content of sterling quality.
The ring weighs 6.5 gr. It is approximately a US size 6 1/2. The slightly oval face of the ring measures 1" by just under 1". The stone is about 8 mm x 13 mm. The band is 4.5 mm wide.
Condition is good.
This ring is of American South Western design. It might be an American Indian made piece, but without markings can't be truly identified as such.
