This is a fine circa 1880s 12.5" tall German blond bisque shoulder head doll model #143 made by C. F. Kling company. He has an antique sawdust stuffed cloth body with bisque arms and legs. The lower legs appear to be high quality later replacements. The shoulder head is faintly marked on the back with the model number 143 followed by a size number. He is dressed in a nice set of antique boy clothing consisting of blue, yellow and white striped linen pants and a dark blue tunic top.
Condition: The bisque shoulder head and limbs are all in good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The body has a patched area over the chest under the shoulder plate area. Lower legs are later replacements.
This is a nice little boy doll to keep your girl dolls company.
