This is a beautiful 18" long antique angle skin coral necklace with the addition of pale pink fresh water cultured pearl spacer beads. This necklace came to me in pieces and the length would have been short by modern standards when restrung, so I added the small cultured pearls between the coral beads to extend the size. The clasp is a simple antique tongue in barrel type, unmarked, but probably gold filled. The coral beads vary in color from white to pink tinged to blush. They have natural imperfections that can be seen in the close up photos, but no damage.
New note: The coral beads test positive as a natural material like coral, however it is possible that they might be made from pink lipped conch shell which would test the same way.
The necklace is 18" long. The coral beads vary in size from 5mm x 9mm up to 9mm x 15mm. The pearls are approximately 4mm x 3mm.
Condition is good. The necklace has been newly restrung.
The oblong coral beads are not the typical round bead shape, and the addition of the pale pink pearls makes this an even more unique necklace.
