This hand strung pale mauve pink side drilled fresh water cultured pearl necklace features a single large baroque pearl center drop. The spherical sterling silver clasp has ribbed bands. It is unmarked but was purchased new as sterling silver and tested as such too. The white gold plated bale that the center baroque pearl is suspended from is marked 18K GP.
This necklace measures 15" long. The baroque pearl measures 1.125" long by .625" across and almost .25" thick. The pearls in the necklace are approximately 5mmx7mm. The clasp is 10 mm.
Condition is good - new.
The side drilling of the pearls creates an interesting herringbone formation when they are strung. The toothy appearance of the large focal pearl drop adds even more interest. Note: the color of these pearls is natural, not dyed.
