This is a 2 early 1900s home made baby doll rompers for an early composition doll approximately 16" tall. Please check measurements for best fit.
The white cotton romper opens down the back and pins to close. It has a rounded collar and long sleeves. Condition is good. The only defect I can find is one faint small dark smudge on the front. Measurements: 10" shoulder to bottom of leg, 7" from center front neck to crotch, 8" across the chest, 3.5" pant leg length, 4" leg width at cuff, 5.5" sleeve length, 2.5" across armhole, 2.75" across sleeve cuff, and 7" total around neckline.
The pink cotton flower print romper is of similar size. It closes with hooks and eyes. Condition: 2 brown stains on front. Seam separated on one sleeve. Measurements: 10.5" shoulder to bottom of leg, 7.5" center front of neck to crotch, 7" across the chest, 3.5" leg length, 4" leg width, 5" sleeve length, 3" flat across armhole, 2.75" flat across sleeve cuff, and 2.5" flat across neckline.
I love these simple authentic old doll clothes. They would be perfect play outfits for an early vintage baby or toddler doll.
