Early 1900s Garnet Paste MIniature Picture Frame w/ Gentleman

This is a fancy circa early 1900s garnet paste miniature picture frame containing a period photo of a debonair gentleman. He is dressed in a suit with a bow tie and appears to be standing outside of a house, squinting slightly in the sunshine. I've been referring to him as 'Tom' because of the 2 letters written on the back, part of an old partial inscription before someone cut the photo to fit the frame. The photo is covered by a sheet of clear celluloid.

This little dresser frame measures 2.375" tall by 1.75" across. The opening for the photo measures 1.375" x 1".

Condition is overall good. There was a brown paper backing that has peeled off the back leaving some remnants behind. The stand in back tends to splay out a little too far, probably a minor adjustment needed.

Who wouldn't want this handsome fellow on their dresser! He would also look smashing as part of a period doll house decor.
