This is a wonderful hand made vintage copper and art glass pendant and chain necklace. The pendant has hand hammered surface texture and is set with a single irregularly shaped green glass stone. The large sturdy chain is composed of alternating larger and small oblong links. It has a simple hook clasp.
This necklace measures 25" long. The large links are each .625" x slightly over .25". The small links are each .325" by slightly less than .25". the pendant measures 2" x 2.5" the green stone measures .5" x .625".
Condition is good, with a lovely natural patina from age.
This necklace is unmarked, making circa dating difficult. It could be as old as early 1900s Arts & Crafts era, or it could be as late as the 1970s when there was a resurgence in this type of hand crafted jewelry in copper. Regardless of which era it was made in, it is a great example of copper jewelry.
