This is a large circa early 1900s Chinese export piece in the form of a round brooch with pie crust edges and set with natural turquoise stone nuggets as buds on a branch. The brooch has a tiny stippled pattern background and a raised relief pattern of a branch with leaves. The back has a typical pin stem and older style rabbit eared roll over safety clasp. It is marked CHINA on the back. The metal tests as gilded brass.
This brooch measures 2.625" in diameter. It weighs 24.6 gr.
Condition is good with expected patina of age. Stones have natural irregularities and dark matrix.
