This is a lovely circa 1940s sterling silver cupid pendant on a hollow woven rope necklace chain. The chain is marked 925 Italy within an oval and AGI within a rectangle with rounded corners on the connecting loops near the clasp. It has an old fashioned spring ring clasp. The cupid is unmarked but tests positive for silver content of sterling grade. The cupid is standing holding a garland of roses.
This necklace weighs 10.1 gr. The necklace chain measures 17" long and .125" wide. The cupid pendant portion measures 1.75" tall x 1" wide.
Condition is overall good, but I note a couple of 'snags' in the woven rope chain that I tried to show in the photos.
This necklace holds great romantic charm.
