Victorian c.1840s -50s Clay Pipe w/ Lady in Red

This is an unusual Victorian period circa 1840s-1850s clay pipe that features the bust of a lovely young lady with long dark ringlets and wearing a red dress. The pipe is made from white clay pottery, similar to Staffordshire pieces. It is fitted with a brass top, but missing its hinged lid. The stem end has remains of cork fitted inside but lacks a stem. The body of the pipe is in good condition, without any cracks, chips or repairs. The painting of the lady is bright and attractive.

The pipe measures 1.875" tall, 1.875" front to back, and 1" diameter bowl.
