Early 1800s Painted Portrait Miniature of Beautiful Woman in Pendant Brooch

This is a wonderful early 1800s painted portrait miniature of a very beautiful woman, under glass in a gold filled pendant brooch setting. The setting is unmarked but tests as gold filled. The portrait is backed by a panel of mother of pearl. The setting has an old fashioned T hinge pin stem and C clasp, plus a hook at the top to accommodate a chain. The lady in the painting is depicted with her dark brown hair worn down in ringlets on the sides, tendril curls on her brow, and the suggestion of a bun on the back of the head. She is wearing a pearl necklace and has a brooch pinned to the edge of her extreme décolleté gown.

This brooch measures 2.375" x 2".

Condition is overall good. I can detect some minor possible damage tot he painted surface on the viewer's left side of the painting - but hard to tell for sure.

This well fed beauty is proudly displaying her buxom bounty. She is a fine example of a skillfully painted portrait miniature gem.
