This is a sweet early 1900s padded silk bonnet suitable for an antique bisque or early composition doll with a head circumference of approximately 9", give or take 1/2". The bonnet is dusky gray blue floral printed silk on the outside, with a covered button in back, white lace trim around the front, and long faded blue ribbon ties. The inside has a plain white cotton lining, and a pale blue silk inner ruffle around the front edge. The whole bonnet is padded with batting to keep the head warm.
The bonnet measures flat 4" tall and 3.5" deep, a total of 5.5" along the bottom neck edge, and 8" along the arch over the face.
Condition: There are 2 small holes in the printed silk. The ties are faded.
This bonnet would look adorable on a toddler or baby doll.
