This is a hard to find early 1900s black and tan cotton Chinese tunic top and pants set suitable for a doll approximately 20" tall. Please check measurements for exact fit. The body of both tunic and pants is black, with bands of tan cotton trimming the edges. The tunic opens down the front and has cotton ties to close.
Measurements: The top measures 11.5" from shoulder to hem, 5.25" flat across the top of the neckline, 2.75" flat across the sleeve width, 3" long sleeves from underarm to cuff end, 7.25" flat across chest, and 10.5" flat across the bottom hem. The pants measure 6" flat across the waist (no opening so must slip on), 8" long from waist to bottom hem, 2.75" flat across leg width, and 3.5" long leg from crotch to bottom hem.
Condition: Some age discoloration slightly visible on tan trim. Stitching is somewhat crude, possibly home made.
This set of ethnic clothes would look charming on either a doll or a bear of the right size.
