This is a fine circa early 1940s vintage Mexican sterling silver charm bracelet with 15 charms. This bracelet is one of six from the same source, all purchased in the early 1940s during a trip to Mexico. The only mark is inside of the baby bassinet marked HECHO EN MEXICO. The chain and all charms test positive as sterling silver. There are 15 charms, including 10 assorted pots, pans and ewers, a jockey's hat, bassinet, lariat, Indian headdress, and a bell. There are 2 empty links for charms near one end.
This bracelet weighs a sturdy 30.1 gr.- that's $31.79 in melt value for the silver as of 6/15/11. The bracelet measures 7.25" long. The chain is about .25" wide.
