This is an interesting vintage pair of 8" tall black ethnic folk art cloth dolls. Based on the age of the estate this pair came out of I estimate that they date from circa 1940s-50s, and probably come from South America. They have brown cotton cloth bodies stuffed with what feels like sawdust. They both have embroidered facial features and clothing made from random scraps of colorful cloth. The lady has human hair and breasts.
Condition is good.
This pair would make a nice addition to a collection of Folk Art dolls or ethnic black dolls.
