Graduated Turquoise Necklace w/ Antique Chinese Frog Pendant

This is an eye catching necklace composed of graduated turquoise rondelle beads culminating in a large antique Tibetan Chinese frog pendant. The pendant is an antique piece of figurally engraved low grade silver set with a large irregular turquoise stone. The pendant tests positive for silver content but below sterling grade and I estimate it at around 800 grade silver. There are no markings for metal content on the pendant, however the clasp of the necklace is sterling silver and is marked 925. The silver spacer beads are also sterling silver. The turquoise beads are stabilized beads with enhanced dyed color as is typical for turquoise from China. The necklace has a pair of carved bone, and black tapered cone wooden enhancer beads above the pendant.

The necklace is 19" around. The clasp measures 14mm x 18mm. The turquoise beads range from 3mm x 5mm up to 5mm x 12mm. The pendant is 3.25" tall (including the attached bail) by 2.75" across and .75" thick in the middle. The turquoise stone in the pendant measures 1" x 1.375".

This amazing pendant is deeply engraved with a pattern of fish and a butterfly on the outside. The underside has a wonderful dragon design. This is a beautiful unique necklace sure to draw attention.
