This is an intricate circa 1940s-1950s vintage 900 silver Egyptian hallmarked pendant brooch featuring hieroglyphics and a turquoise color center stone. The center stone appears to be a glass stone mimicking turquoise. This piece is hallmarked in multiple places, twice on the front, on the bail, and on the pin stem. The markings include the lotus mark which was used from 1946. It has an original pin stem with simple C clasp as well as a bail loop to be worn as a pendant.
This piece weighs 16.1 gr. It measures 1.5" tall by 2" across. The center stone is about 8mm x 11mm.
Condition is good.
