c.1930s Pewter Blue Enamel & Art Glass Brooch & 2 Clips Demi Parure Set

This is an attractive circa 1930s demi parure brooch plus 2 clips set in hammered texture pewter with blue enameled details and turquoise art glass cabochons. There are no markings. The metal has purposefully darkened patina. The outer edges of the brooch and bottom of clips has a blue enameled fly form. The clips also have blue enameled diamond shaped. The center round cabochon on the brooch and oval cabochons on the clips are each a mottle turquoise blue glass. The brooch has its original pin back with functional roll over safety catch. The clips both work well.

The brooch measures 1.75" in diameter. The clips are each 1.625" x 1.25".

Condition is good. These pieces have a purposefully applied dark patina finish and were never meant to be bright and shiny.

Stylistically these pieces show both Art Deco and Arts & Crafts design influence. Though they are manufactured pieces they were made to have that hand crafted appearance and are quite unique.
