Early 1900s Garnet Red Velvet Doll Bonnet

This is a nice circa early 1900s deep garnet red velvet doll bonnet. The bonnet is lined in brown cotton. It has a silk ribbon tie (missing from one side), a ruched ruffle around the face, and white plush bands of trim. The doll head modeling the bonnet has ahead circumference of 8.5" to help you judge size.

The bonnet has a flat measurement of 6.5" tall by 5" across. It measures 8" in the front arc over the head from the seam line at the neck.

Condition: The ribbon tie is missing from one side. The lace ruching is coming unstitched at the sides and needs to be tacked back down.

Add this lovely bonnet to your antique doll's wardrobe.
