Emma Clear 1948 Gentleman Bisque Doll Shoulder Head

This is a handsome gentleman bisque doll shoulder head marked Clear 48 for Emma Clear 1948. He is made from fine white so-called parian bisque with china glaze selectively applied to his eyes, collar and bow tie. He has reddish brown hair with a center part and swept back on the sides. The shoulder plate is molded as a white shirt. Emma Clear adapted this model from the original German doll made by C. F. Kling.

The head measures 5.125" tall x 4.875" across the shoulders x 2.625" deep at the base.

Condition is good.
