This is a beautiful vintage marked sterling silver vermeil laurel wreath brooch set with a row of 7 cultured pearls and accented by 3 smaller tiger's eye stones. The brooch is marked WELLS STER. on a small plaque near the clasp. Wells Inc. was in business from 1922-1978 in Attleboro, MA. The brooch is designed as half of a laurel wreath consisting of 12 overlapping leaves. The other half is studded with the pearls and tiger's eye stones. There is a gold finish over the silver. The brooch has its original clasp with functional roll over safety catch.
This brooch weighs 7.4 gr. It measures 1.25" x 1.125".
Condition is good.
