This is an original circa 1900 factory made dress for an antique bisque doll approximately 20" tall. Please check measurements for best fit. This is the type of doll dress that a doll of that era would have come in straight from the factory in her box. It is a very simple dress shift made from thin, stiff and slightly see through off white cotton gauze, with lace on bodice and around cuffs and neck. A pink silk ribbon accents the lace on the bodice. It has some simple pleating in front. It opens in back and has no closure.
This dress measures 15" from shoulder to hem, 6.5" flat across the chest between underarms, 2.75" flat across the armhole, 2.5" flat across the cuff, and 9" flat across the bottom hem.
Condition: there is a hole on the right front of the bodice and top of right sleeve, as well as near seam of other sleeve. Lace trim is loose around neckline and some is missing from right cuff.
Though this dress is not perfect, it is authentic. If you have an antique bisque doll that you would like to dress in a factory original way, then this simple shift may suit.
