This is 2 antique cotton nightgowns for 19th century fashion dolls approximately 16" tall.
The plain cotton gown is the earlier dress, and is estimated to date from circa 1860s. This gown opens part way down the front and closes with 2 white glass buttons. It would fit a doll about 16" -17" tall. It measures 13" from shoulder to hem, 7" flat across the chest between the underarms, 1.5" flat across the neck, 2" flat across the armhole, 1" flat across the cuff, 4.25" sleeve length from top of shoulder to cuff, and 16" flat across the bottom hem. It is in good sturdy condition. the only defect is a couple of small brown stains near the bottom front.
The dress with the light blue sailor collar opens all the way down the front and closes with 5 mother of pearl buttons. It has light blue trimmed cuffs and pocket as well. This one could be worn as an outer dress or as a night gown. I estimate that it dates from circa 1880s-1890s. This dress would fit a doll approximately 15" tall. It measures 11.5" from shoulder to hem, 6" flat across the chest, 2.75" flat across the neckline, 2.25" flat across the armhole, 1.5" flat across the cuff, 5" long sleeves from shoulder to cuff, and 9" flat across the bottom hem. Condition is good. I see only one tiny brown speck on the right sleeve.
These would make nice additions to your antique doll's wardrobe.
