This is a skillfully made circa early 1900s white cotton crocheted dress suitable for a bisque or composition doll approximately 20" tall. Please check measurements for fit. the dress has puffed sleeves that ruffle at the ends, a simple collar, and very full skirt with rows of different crochet patterns. The dress opens down the back and has no closure.
The dress measures 14" from shoulder to bottom, 6.25" flat across the waist, 6. across the chest between underarms, 3.25" flat across the armhole, 2.5" flat across the cuff, 4.5" sleeve length from underarm, 5" flat across the neckline, 6" from shoulder to waist, and the skirt appears to be a full circle skirt.
Condition: There are several rust colored stains, some faint and some darker. Please see photos.
This dress would look beautiful with a colored slip layered underneath.
