This is a beautifully made circa early 1900s-1930s white crocheted cotton baby doll bonnet with blue cotton lining. It crocheted with a very small hook forming an intricate pattern that includes 2 rows of flowers. There is a now shabby light blue silk ribbon rosette on each side and remnants of the blue silk ribbon ties - which need to be replaced now.
This hat would fit a doll with a head circumference of approximately 14" -16" around. The bonnet measures 5.5" top to bottom and 5" front to back when flat, so 11" over the head from the bottom of one side and over to the next side.
Condition: Needs new ties. Some minor age discoloration.
This is a lovely authentic old bonnet cap for your antique bisque or composition baby doll.
