This is a lovely circa 1940s marked sterling silver vermeil rhinestone butterfly brooch. It is marked STERLING on the back. The brooch has a rose gold finish over the sterling. The butterfly has double wings. The base of body and antennae are set with clear rhinestones. The large stone on the torso is a light amber in color. The design resembles butterfly brooches made by Coro, but is not marked Coro. The back has its original pin with functional roll over safety catch.
This brooch weighs 8.2 gr. It measures 1.5" tall by 1.75" across.
Condition is good with only minor wear to the gold finish.
