This is a patriotic pair of circa 1940s vintage marked sterling silver earrings bearing the emblem for the US Navy, an American eagle with spread wings on a US flag shield over crossed anchors. The earrings have a gold washed finish over sterling silver. They are marked sterling on the screw backs. These earrings are probably World War 2 vintage.
The earrings have a combined weight of 4.1 gr. The face of each earring is .625" x .625".
Condition is good. There is slight wear to the gold finish on the face of the earrings, revealing some of the silver.
A perfect pair of earrings to show ones patriotism and support for the US Navy.
