This is an attractive circa early 1900s Chinese export carved red cinnabar peonies brooch. The setting is brass and may have originally been silver plated. It is lightly marked 'CHINA' on the back. The cinnabar panel is deeply carved over all with a depiction of blooming peony flowers.
This brooch measures 1.5" in diameter.
Condition is good.
