This is a delightful circa 1930s child's toy metal electric cooking stove in green with cream trim and painted scene of child. The stove is marked on the bottom METAL WARE CORP. TWO RIVERS, WIS. 75 WATTS 110 VOLTS MADE IN USA CAT. No. 204. The stove has 2 internal heat coils, one for a burner and one for the oven section. There are non functional molded on and off buttons on the front. Apparently on and off is operated simply by plugging it in and unplugging it.
8" long by 7.5" tall by 4" deep.
Condition: there is some minor wear tot he painted finish. It looks like there should be an oven door that is missing. The electric cord is in poor condition and would need replacing for it to be operated.
This item is offered on behalf of the Coleman Collection. Other select items will be posted from this collection as well.
This little stove is a rare relic from those days of more hazardous child play. It certainly wouldn't pass muster with the Product Safety Commission these days.
