This is a charming little 3" tall clown doll created by NIADA doll artist Irma Parks circa 1960s. He is labeled on the back "Hap" by Irma Park. His head, arms and legs are sculpted in hard wax. The body is cloth and the arms are wired. He is dressed in a cute clown costume consisting of brown gingham trousers held up by red suspenders, brown shirt with white bead buttons, an over-sized black bow tie, red wig, and black felt hat. His face is clown painted in a broad smile. NIADA is the National Institute of American Doll Artists.
Condition is good.
