18" German Kestner Sleep Eye Bisque Doll on Kid Body

This is a fine 18" tall antique German Kestner bisque shoulder head doll on kid body, with sleep eyes and turned head. She has an open cut mouth with 4 teeth visible inside. The doll is marked "Made in Germany" and "H" on the back of the shoulder plate and head. She has a typical kid body with bisque lower arms. The doll has nice antique clothing consisting of pantaloons, 2 petticoats, an off white and pink gauzy dress, socks and nice old leather shoes. She has a nice human hair wig that is a newer replacement.

Condition: The bisque head and shoulder plate are in good condition without any cracks, chips or repairs, and original plaster pate is still in place. The doll's right hand has a chipped middle finger. The body has typical age discoloration but is sturdy. Please note that in order to pack securely for shipping this doll's head will have to be unsewn from the body to pack up inside the head and immobilize the sleep eye mechanism.
