This is a wonderfully all original 5.5" tall German bisque socket head doll on jointed composition body and still dressed in her factory original regional costume. Her head is marked 0 on the back. She has brown sleep eyes and an open cut mouth with teeth. She has her original brown mohair braided wig too. Her costume consists of gauze slip, black skirt and vest, cream apron, black felt stomacher with sequins, blouse, and black lace bonnet. Her body is joined at hips and shoulders and the head turns nicely. She has painted single strap heeled shoes and white molded ribbed hose.
Condition is good. some minor age discoloration. Eyes appear a little wonky because I photographed her while she still had stuffing inside the head securing the eye mechanism from moving while stored.
This item is offered on behalf of the Coleman Collection. Other select items will be posted from this collection as well.
She's delightfully all original.
